IT Policies
There are several policies and guideline statements that apply to members of the U-M community related to the proper and appropriate uses of campus information technology resources and networks. These policies deal with both legal and ethical requirements connected to the access and use of campus IT networks and resources. Specifically, the University prohibits unlawful peer-to-peer file sharing and other forms of copyright infringement. Violations of these policies can result in enforcement by both the university and agencies external to the university.
