Phishing Email Summary

This phishing email seeks to trick people into entering U-M login information in a form. The phish claims the recipient's email has been logged into from another computer and that the recipient must submit their credentials in an online form to confirm their account is still active. The phish may appear to come from a U-M account, or be customized with the recipient's name and email address to appear for convincing.

The best way to spot that this is a fake is by looking at the URL it directs you to. The real U-M weblogin site is https://weblogin.umich.edu . If you have already authenticated, going to weblogin should redirect you to Wolverine Access. Always check the URL before logging in.
