Denodo at U-M

Service Description

Denodo at U-M is a data virtualization and data integration platform in use at the University of Michigan. Data virtualization is a logical data layer that integrates all enterprise data siloed across disparate systems, manages the unified data for centralized security and governance, and delivers it to business users in real time.

Denodo is available at no cost to all U-M staff and faculty across the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine campuses. Users that have remote data access (RDAs) provided by ITS will find the same data sets and access available in Denodo.

The Denodo at U-M service is maintained on the Ann Arbor campus. Denodo is a pass-through solution, meaning that it pulls data from underlying data sources and delivers data to the user that can also be shared within the application. Denodo is not a data repository.
