Phishing Message Summary

This phishing email attempts to impersonate a U-M email system alert directing the recipient to a fake U-M weblogin page. U-M email systems do not send this type of alert directing you to log in to a page with a non-UM URL. Always check the URL before loging in. The real U-M login page is https://weblogin.umich.edu.

Users of Michigan Medicine's email system will also see a warning that this is an external email; another clue that it is a phish.

This phishing email may also appear customized with a user's uniqname or other details, such as date and time.
