NOTICE: Resources & a poster to inform people about phishing
Friday, March 25, 2016
The information below was sent via email to the IT Security Community and Frontline Notify groups on March 25, 2016.
Higher education, including U-M, is under siege from an onslaught of phishing and tax fraud attempts. Since January, we have seen a huge upswing in well-crafted phishing emails. In addition, with the tax season upon us, we once again are seeing a rise in the number of U-M community members falling victim to tax fraud.
Please help us continue to inform people at U-M about these threats and what they can do to protect themselves.
