Scammers impersonate U-M students on social media and get you to pay with a nonrefundable method, like Zelle, for nonexistent tickets.
Report Phishing
If you encounter a phishing email, send the full message with headers or a description to [email protected].
Tips
Protect your UMICH Login: Only enter your uniqname and password on the official U-M Weblogin screen, weblogin.umich.edu. Don’t enter Duo passcodes into any forms other than the official Duo screen.
Review app privacy settings: Check what apps have access to your location, camera, microphone, and contacts, and consider whether that access is necessary.
