Michigan Medicine's Simulated Phishing Program

Spot The Spoof: Michigan Medicine’s Simulated Phishing Program

Michigan Medicine regularly conducts simulated phishing exercises to enhance the cybersecurity of our teams and patients. These simulations equip our staff with the skills necessary to identify and promptly report actual phishing threats—protecting Michigan Medicine from present and future cyber-attacks. Simulated phishing involves periodically sending fake phishing emails, designed by our cybersecurity teams, to actively engage and educate Michigan Medicine staff. This initiative is designed to empower staff members to protect themselves and Michigan Medicine against cyber attacks.

Dive into our archive of past simulated phishing exercises. When team members interact with a simulated phish—be it through clicking a link, entering data, or downloading an attachment—they are redirected to an educational page. This immediate feedback is designed to both inform and remind our community of the vigilance needed to maintain our collective cybersecurity. March
